The Union Street Band exceeded all of my expectations!

They ensured our event was a fun time for everyone by including the crowd in their upbeat performance and accepting requests. They conducted themselves very professionally in all business dealings, both before and after the performance.

I was nervous booking them sight unseen because this was a corporate event, not a wedding. They assured me it would be fine and worked with me every step of the way to tailor the evening's music selections and vibe specifically to our group. Attendees were blown away by their musical and vocal talents as well as the breadth/selection of song material covered. If ever booking an event in the Northeast again, I'll definitely be calling on the Union Street Band!

Hi Rob!

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you again for last Saturday.

You guys and Heather, are truly top notch! What an absolute hit the music was!!
It just made the night that much more special.

I also wanted you to know how awesome I thought it was that you guys came back in with our song after the ceremony. I had forgot to ask for that, but you guys just did it! And speaking of the song, thank you for learning it, it sounded so good and I wish someone had a recording of it.

Please pass along to the band how much Amy and I appreciate Union Street's level of musicianship, professionalism, and outright fun!!

Hi Rob!

I write first to thank you all for doing such a superb job at our wedding.

When Bob and I first started talking about getting married, we knew that we only had a couple things that really mattered to us about our wedding: (1) good food/good drink (2) meaningful ceremony in a VT location and (3) an awesome band so that our guests could really, really enjoy themselves. You guys made the party happen just as we had hoped and imagined.

I am a musician myself and both Bob and I have gone to concerts for years and years so we really appreciate a good band and you guys exceeded our expectations. Our guests hardly sat down, which was just what we wanted and this was despite the fact that our venue was quite warm the night of our wedding! You made it a party and for that we are so appreciative.

I do not think that I will ever forget my Dad singing Crazy Love during our first dance... nor will I forget the father/daughter dance, which was one of the most meaningful moments of the wedding to me. Your guys' flexibility in learning both songs and your ability to do them both so well did not go unnoticed!

We HIGHLY recommend The Union Street Band!

The Union Street Band!

It was important to us to book a Vermont-based band for our wedding, and to find one full of talented musicians with lifelong local connections was a treat. Union Street was professional from day one, timely and helpful in the contract process, and kept us up to date on their song list and new repertoire.

We were able to hear them play live before committing to the event and I'd say we were hooked by the second song. Even better, when the big day came Union Street delivered in every way possible: the acoustic performance of our processional & recessional song was just the right tone and pace, their set during our cocktail hour had a great range of styles and combinations, never too loud or distracting, and the main dance floor time was simply stunning.

The band nailed our first dance song (a new one for them, which we appreciated so much) as well as the father's/daughter's song, then it was time to let it rip with seemingly unending supply of energy, enough slow songs to keep it balanced, and a killer finale complete with audience interaction! Seeing Rob play the guitar on his knees while my best friends threw themselves into cowbell and tambourine will be one of the top 3 highlight moments of the whole wedding day.

We recommend Union Street for their energetic sets, professional business practice, and willingness to learn songs and tailor sets to your specific tastes.

So much fun!!!
